This is exactly why we’ve thrown our full weight behind Jen Jordan.
Friend,
One of the reasons we endorsed Jen Jordan to be Georgia’s next Attorney General is because she’s a powerful and passionate advocate for vulnerable communities in her home state. Recently, Jen passed a new law to strengthen penalties for child sex offenders and keep families in Georgia safe in the process.
As a mother of two teenagers, Jen understands the risks that children face today online. She also knows how important it is that legislators update their laws accordingly to keep families safe. This new law makes it illegal for sex offenders to contact anyone under the age of 16 on the internet or pose as a child on the internet. The bottom line is that this legislation Jen helped pass will keep kids safer.
Georgia deserves an Attorney General with the lived experience needed to protect communities from bad actors. From arguing in court on behalf of cancer survivors to advocating for Georgians after a statewide data breach, Jen has all the experience to deliver real results on behalf of the residents of the Peach State.
