It’s been a big week for us.
FIRST: Charles won his primary and was elected as the official Democratic Senate nominee. He became the first Black person in the history of Kentucky to represent a major party for Senate.
THEN: Progressive leaders like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren celebrated this victory. They know if we want to deliver meaningful change to working families across the country – Charles is the leader we need in the Senate.
SO NOW: We’re working to make sure this momentum continues to grow every day until Election day. If this energy keeps going, we have the grassroots power to send Charles to the Senate. 🔥
The truth is a lot of people don’t think that change in Kentucky is possible.
But this week has been proof that the naysayers are wrong: Kentuckians are hungry for change. The people chose Charles as the Democratic nominee and folks are rising up to make sure we end this failed chapter of leadership under Rand Paul.
We’ve begun the hard work of building a campaign that will take back the people’s seat back from Rand Paul. We’re building coalitions in every corner of our commonwealth. We’re talking with and listening to our neighbors. And we’re powering this work from everyday folks like you.
