Dear John,

Have you made a plan yet to go to DC on June 18?

What are you waiting for? Make a pledge today!

We have set a goal of bringing 500 people to the Poor People’s March and Low Wage Workers’ Assembly. Right now, 251 have said they are marching on Washington. Will you be 252?

The fascist danger is escalating. It will take a full mobilization of our whole working class and people to defeat it, using every tool in our toolbox — from the streets to the voting booths. On June 18, we will march against the ruling class policies of racism, poverty, war and ecological devastation, and against the assault on reproductive rights. It is vital we make the presence of our Party seen, heard and felt.

Will you be there? If you cannot come to DC yourself, will you donate $50 to help a young comrade get there?

The extreme right is launching violent assault after violent assault on our communities. We see it in the political realm, with deepening voter suppression, corrupt gerrymandering, and their use of the courts to overthrow abortion rights. We see it in the economic realm with the union-busting tactics of billion-dollar corporations like Amazon, Starbucks and Chipotle.

We see it in the ideological realm, with bans on so-called “Critical Race Theory,” and the promotion of “Great Replacement Theory” in the big business media. We see it taking place in the form of physical violence with the recent terrorist attack in Buffalo and ongoing racist police murder. We see it as people helping programs are blocked in Congress, and the money siphoned off for weapons to Ukraine, Somalia, and elsewhere.

Our working class is fighting back, and we cannot point the way forward without getting in the mix. Let’s join together and march!

See you in DC!

In struggle,

Rossana,

Joe
