Hi there,

My name is Andy Baraghani, I’m an Iranian American who’s spent years working in professional kitchens as a trained chef, food writer and test kitchen cook at outlets like Saveur and Tasting Table, before joining Bon Appétit.

After years of developing recipes, traveling and writing about food I’m so excited to announce the launch of my first cookbook, THE COOK YOU WANT TO BE: EVERYDAY RECIPES TO IMPRESS. A book for curious home cooks of all skill levels and culinary ambition, complete with a comprehensive pantry and kitchen tool guide.

I’ll be joining NIAC’s New York Chapter virtually to discuss it and much more on Thursday May 26th and I’d love to extend you an invitation. 25 attendees (randomly selected) will receive a free copy of my new book, so make sure you RSVP today to receive the link to join >RSVpThe Cook You Want to Be includes personal essays and 120 recipes, with highlights like:
