Here are three things I’ve been working on for the past week:

Good evening John,

Tomorrow is the last day to vote in the Georgia primaries! If you haven’t already, make sure you cast your ballot. Every vote counts! In the meantime, here are three things I’ve been working on for the past week:

  1. My top priority has been reaching voters and encouraging them to get out and vote tomorrow. Poll hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Head to the Georgia Democrats Voter Protection website for a guide on how to ensure your voice is heard!

  2. I unveiled a $28 million emergency spending bill to address the infant formula shortage. Last Thursday, we reviewed the FDA’s 2023 budget in order to get infant formula back on store shelves. Despite Republican opposition, the House passed the funding late last week.

  3. I stood up for workforce training and apprenticeship programs. Our country’s job market is evolving and our workforce must keep pace. Among the programs reauthorized by this bill is the Job Corps program which supports the Turner Job Corps Center in Albany.

As we countdown the final hours until primary day, I want to remind you that we count on people like you to make your voice heard and to hold the line for the hard won freedoms we have today.

If you believe in fighting for Georgia’s working families and keeping our Democratic majority, please chip in $15 now.

Thank you,

Congressman Sanford Bishop
