Dear John,
It's Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month—and while this is meant to be a month of celebration, just two weeks ago we saw another violent attack against the AAPI community. This time, in Dallas, where someone who had expressed anti-Asian bigotry on several occasions fired shots at workers and staff at an Asian-run hair salon, leaving three Korean American women wounded.
These continued attacks cannot be ignored. TFN and its projects are dedicated to securing equal justice for all. Xenophobia will not remain hidden. We will call out hateful acts and speak out in support of our AAPI communities.
Everyone, regardless of race, color, religion, origin, gender, or age deserves to feel safe. Today, we're drowning out racism by acknowledging the immeasurable contributions made to our country by AAPI community members and uplifting the work of the following organizations and activists:

As we commemorate the diversity and culture of every Asian American & Pacific Islander this month, we urge you to go beyond celebration. Support the AAPI community every single day by committing to learning about bystander intervention and addressing discrimination when you see it. Talk to your friends and loved ones, and urge them to join you in publicly condemning all acts of racism and hate.
By investing in community-based efforts and supporting organizations doing this work on the frontlines, we can commit to #StopAsianHate this month and every month that follows.
In unity,
