A federal judge blocked the Biden administration from ending the use of Title 42 to expel unauthorized immigrants apprehended at the Southern border.

The CDC had planned to halt the use of Title 42 on Monday, May 23rd, which sparked bipartisan criticism and prompted 24 states to file suit to block the move.

Title 42 is a public health authority that has been used to quickly deport detained migrants due to COVID-19 concerns.

Turkey's Erdogan Threatens to Block Finland & Sweden From Joining NATO

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan doubled down on his threat to block Finland and Sweden from their bids to join NATO unless they stop harboring Kurdish separatists. 

Finland and Sweden may become full members of NATO this summer ― but that will require unanimous support from all current NATO members which gives Turkey an effective veto.

Senate Takes Up Executive Branch & Judicial Nominations as House Begins Two-Week Recess
