For days, two-thirds of the country struggled through a heat wave that
turned deadly, caused roads to crack and buckle, and brought about
major power failures. Now that the East Coast is getting a slight
break, the West is getting a new set of heat wave predictions -
complete with wildfire warnings.

In my home of Washington, DC, the heat index reached 110 degrees this
past weekend. But was it hot enough for Congress to get the message?
With temperature records being smashed month after month, year after
year, it's likely that human-caused global warming is making these
extreme heat events more frequent.

It's time to address the climate crisis: Call on to cosponsor the soon-to-be
released bill that will commit the US to 100% clean energy!

Here are the details: Rep. McEachin is planning to soon unveil a
groundbreaking proposal that will require federal agencies to use
their authority to transition the United States to a 100% clean energy
economy by 2050.

This soon-to-be announced bill will put us on the path to drastically
cutting pollution across all sectors of our economy: from
transportation, to agriculture, to manufacturing, and beyond.

Getting to 100% clean is entirely possible. Technology removing carbon
directly from the air is developing; practices that make agriculture
more climate friendly are expanding; and a diversity of clean energy
sources - and the jobs they create - are becoming more
widely available.

We have no time to waste. We can't continue to suffer the
devastating effects of the climate crisis without taking action.

Raise your voice today, and urge to sign onto this bill as an
original cosponsor and support moving America to 100% clean!
