Dear Friend,

Since I took the helm as the first woman and alumna to serve as NLC's President & CEO, I've been conducting a listening tour to hear from NLC community members. It's been an honor to hear your NLC stories. Because of you, NLC is nearly 8,000 alumni strong with 50 chapters across the country, offering leadership training at no cost for all of our fellows.

So on this day, and every day, I wanted to share how much the NLC staff and I appreciate your efforts.

We've come so far, but still have much more to do. I am humbled to lead NLC into its next chapter. This year, I am thankful for all of you in our #NLCamily. Together, we've made an impact in communities across the country during a time when progressive leaders are needed more than ever. Below is just a sampling of the impact we made in 2019, and I am excited about what we'll accomplish in 2020 and beyond.
