An overwhelming majority of freight forwarders, shippers and traders believe they will witness worse or the same level of "chaos" during this year's third-quarter peak shipping season as they dealt with last year, while 26% expect it to be easier, according to a survey by German technology firm Container xChange. To help mitigate issues, 56% of respondents are expanding their networks, 38% are forming long-term contracts and 25% are using alternative shipping routes, the report showed.
