John – this primary race is one that has taken everything out of me. I have almost nothing left in the tank.

FIRST: Georgia Republicans radically redrew my old district – Georgia’s 6th District – shifting it 25 points towards Trump voters in their partisan redistricting process. It wasn’t hard to put two and two together – they tried to get rid of me with the stroke of a pen.

THEN: I announced that Brian Kemp and Georgia Republicans would never have the final say over my career – I announced my re-election campaign in the new 7th District (containing parts of my old district), and started running as hard as I can.

NOW: Election day is tomorrow. The press is still saying this will be a competitive primary. And we can’t leave any stone unturned, in case we’re headed to a runoff or god forbid – a loss tomorrow.
