CBS News: Eric Holder on gerrymandering: “Republicans have to cheat in order to win” elections

John – from gerrymandering to voter suppression to trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election, we’ve seen example after example of Republican cheating. That’s why A.G. Holder launched the NDRC in the first place – to combat some of the most egregious examples of that cheating.

And thanks to your support, we’ve had a lot of success. As President Obama said of the 2022 elections, “It’s now unlikely that control of the [U.S. House of Representatives] will be determined strictly by the way maps are drawn.”

But our work isn’t finished. Because the GOP is still defending their manipulated maps in states like Florida and Texas, and making plans to continue gerrymandering in the future!
