Are you concerned about the new conservative Supreme Court majority and
their attacks on reproductive rights?

Well, strong, progressive state governments are one of the best defenses
we have against the worst impulses of the court.

Countless issues that the court impacts, including the right to choose,
will be protected at the state level. That means that, in addition to
trying to tip the balance in Washington, we must prioritize bolstering and
building progressive power in states that are currently held by the GOP.

That's why Democracy for America is now supporting four key gubernatorial
candidates: Stacey Abrams-GA, Beto O’Rourke-TX, Chris Jones- AR, and
Deidre Dejear- IA.

We're fighting to elect Stacey, Beto, Chris, and Deidre because they're
transformative candidates who will make history in each of their
respective states. Now, with the Supreme Court set to overturn Roe V Wade,
winning each of these races is more critical than ever.

All four of the states that DFA members are working to win statewide power
in -- Georgia, Texas, Arkansas, and Iowa -- are currently controlled by
Republicans.

Electing these Democratic governors will give us the opportunity to veto
the worst right-wing policies, implement progressive reforms and play a
key role in defending the right to an abortion.
