John, the past two weeks have made it incredibly clear what’s at stake in this race.

Abortion access is on the line, and the only way to protect it in Pennsylvania is to elect a Democratic Governor.

In a draft opinion, the U.S. Supreme Court voted to overturn Roe v. Wade — and then the U.S. Senate failed to pass legislation that would codify abortion rights into law..

That leaves reproductive rights up to the states. And in Pennsylvania, millions of women could be in danger of losing access to safe and legal abortion — unless we win this election.

Why? Because my GOP opponent wants to ban all abortion. He believes there should be zero exceptions for rape, incest, or life of the mother — putting women’s lives at risk. He even said that if he was elected Governor, he would make abortion a crime and throw doctors in jail for performing them. And he could have a GOP-led Legislature that could put that bill on his desk.

But John, I’ve always been vocal about being pro-choice — and I will continue defending reproductive freedom and abortion access as Pennsylvania’s next Governor. I will use my veto pen to block any legislation that restricts abortion access and I will make sure that all of our rights are protected.
