Folks, recent generic ballot polls for the midterm elections show that Republicans are dangerously close to flipping my seat – and all of Nevada – bright red.

I need to be crystal clear: there’s no more time to sit back and wait for the landscape to change. The reality is that our campaign is in a tough re-election fight and I need your support to keep this seat blue.

FiveThirtyEight is a highly respected political forecasting group. But, here’s what’s not clear in their reporting – just how high the stakes are for races like mine that will determine control of the House.

I’m running for re-election in Nevada’s Third District where our fight leading up to November is going to be one of the fiercest in the country. Hell, Republicans have already spent over $2 million to rip this seat away from us!

But, here’s why that $2 million is a big deal: there’s still ample time for GOP dark money super PACs and special interests to flood millions more into our district.

My four ultra-MAGA extremist opponents are eating away at our lead here in Nevada and the Republican Party is supporting them every step of the way. Meanwhile, my campaign is on a mission to energize our voter base and defeat my opponents’ lies and conspiracies with the power of a unified Democratic coalition at the polls.

And I’ll say it until I’m blue in the face – I cannot win this race without your support, full stop.
