Ron Hanks, an extreme legislator in the Colorado House of Representatives, is the frontrunner in the GOP primary race against Michael. For starters, he:
- Marched with insurrectionists on January 6th who violently attacked our democracy,
- Is a vocal proponent of Trump’s Big Lie that the 2020 election was stolen,
- Denies the science behind climate change,
- And tried to pass a complete ban on abortions in Colorado.
Yikes.
