Here’s the situation, John: We have champions waiting in the wings who will fight for us at every level of our government. Electing these champions is more important than ever – but many of them face steep odds before they ever hit the campaign trail. 

Even now, political pundits and so-called experts say that “moderate” white men are the “most electable” candidates. But we urgently need candidates committed to our communities who won’t compromise on our humanity, and who won’t play “middle-of-the-road” politics with our lives. 

That means electing women of the New American Majority: Black, Brown, and Indigenous women and women of color, as well as young, LGBTQ+ women, and unmarried women, who are already fighting for our rights. Because when we elevate candidates from marginalized communities, we ensure a better future for us all. So please, John, this couldn’t be more urgent:
