Hi John, I'm reaching out again with an update on our grassroots fundraising progress, and I want to be straightforward with you. We set goals because that's what it takes to grow our campaign. We're hiring to expand our reach across Iowa, strategizing about ad buy investments and planning voter outreach.

But to counter every move we make, Sens. Grassley, Mitch McConnell and their allies have tens of millions of dollars in the bank to do what they wish with. In fact, a Kevin McCarthy-aligned super PAC just reserved more than $100 million in TV ads to attack Democrats and take back Congress. Sen. Grassley has already launched his first attack ad against me online – and there's nothing stopping his pals in Washington from calling up a TV station in Des Moines to drop a six-figure ad buy today if they wanted to.

Sen. Grassley and his allies don’t scare me, but we need to be prepared to fight back – with grassroots support and the help and trust of amazing, dedicated team members like yourself.
