I first met Tammy in 2005, when she joined me as my guest at that year’s State of the Union address.

That was the beginning of a long friendship that’s extended to this very day, with both of us in the Senate serving Illinois.

In the Senate, Tammy is an incredible partner on the big issues for Illinois families, from supporting our Veterans to advocating for working families and small businesses during the pandemic. She is an important leader in the Senate and we need her voice in the fights ahead.
