Happy Thanksgiving! As you gather with your friends and family on this special day of giving thanks, we wanted to share our continued gratitude for all of you. Your commitment to supporting our service members, military families, and veterans of all eras is truly inspiring. We recently received a comment on one of our social media channels that was heart-wrenching: "I am thinking of not donating because there is really no war going on in the world where our troops need it." The grueling war that our troops have been waging for 18 long years is now fading out of public view. Meanwhile, our service members continue to fall in the line of duty supporting active military campaigns. Not to mention, the thousands of Post 9/11 veterans that continue to struggle through the aftereffects of the continuing war. From PTSD to homelessness to unimaginable physical wounds. But you, our Angels, supporters, donors, fellow veterans, military families, and active duty service members, have never wavered in your support of our mission. Because of your compassion, our deployed service members are supported, our veterans remembered, and our military families uplifted. And for that, I thank you. Thank you for taking the time to ensure that America's military sons and daughters, husbands and wives, mothers and fathers, are thanked for their arduous task of protecting our country and upholding our freedoms. With Gratitude,
"First let me start by saying THANK YOU so much for your generous support of Bulldog Soldiers through sending incredible care packages! At a relatively remote and austere outpost such as ours, these packages go a LONG way. We have no access to a PX or shoppette, so there is always a huge spike in morale when mail comes in with all of your care packages!" - Chaplain Schmitz “Hello - I am a Vietnam Veteran who is the humble recipient of the most beautiful cards and letters through Soldiers' Angels. I just wanted you to know that I recently made The Honor Flight Philadelphia and I am still crying over the beautiful day that soaked into my heart and soul. I am in the process of writing back to all the Angels that left return information on their cards/letters. Thank you Soldiers' Angels for being there for me and my brother in arms - it sure feels awesome instead of spit from the 70's to get hugs and well wishes for our safe return home. God Bless this site.” “I was at the VA hospital for treatment when I was given a handmade lap blanket. It is not just the warmth from the blanket that meant so much but the fact that someone cared enough to make this gift of "warmth" for me. Thank You for this gift.” - Mike Soldiers' Angels • 2895 NE Loop 410, Suite 107, San Antonio, TX 78218 • www.SoldiersAngels.org Our Tax ID# is 20-0583415 |
