Ever since Washington Republicans put a target on Joe’s back, we've seen unprecedented spending by Republicans throughout Connecticut. In fact, a Kevin McCarthy-aligned super PAC reserved $1.75 million in TV ad space to run vicious attack ads in the weeks leading up to the election.

Joe is a threat to Washington Republicans because he puts people before politics. In Congress, he fought for lower prescription drug prices, secured infrastructure investments that repaired roads and bridges throughout eastern Connecticut, created good-paying American jobs, fought for environmental protections that will defend Connecticut’s natural resources, ensured that Connecticut schools had the resources they needed to stay open during the COVID-19 pandemic, and more. Make no mistake about it, Kevin McCarthy voted no and whipped his caucus to vote no against both the infrastructure law and prescription drug price reform.
