Patriot – My name is Derrick Van Orden. I’m a retired Navy SEAL Senior Chief, husband, father, grandfather, Christian, and common sense conservative.

My story is like many Americans. I grew up in a small town and didn’t have much. My mother always taught my brother and I the importance of hard work and to never back down from a fight.

So, I joined the military when I was 18 and went on to serve our country as a Navy SEAL in multiple combat tours.

Now, I’m running for Congress in the most competitive House race on the map – an election that will decide who controls Washington.

I’m not a politician – I don’t have a rolodex of fat-cat donors. I’m like you – a concerned American who loves this nation and will always stand up for what is right.

I’ve fought for my country before and I’m willing to do it again, but I can’t without your help.
