Michigan has four seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Football.

Nothing brings together Michiganders like football, which is why I've designated November 23 - December 1 as Football Week in Michigan.

Whether it's cheering on our kids at a high school game, one of the nation's most notable rivalry college football games, or rooting for our Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day: our football traditions are just one more reason I'm proud to be a Michigander.

Today, I'm grateful for this incredible team, the opportunity to serve Michigan, and a sport that brings communities together across our great state.
