We are facing a crisis moment with the Supreme Court seemingly poised to overturn Roe v. Wade and extremists making clear they won't stop until a national nationwide abortion ban is enacted.

Let me be clear: the Supreme Court is trying to take away a constitutional right — and they won’t stop here. Every ban on our body is an attempt to erode our democracy.

I’m angry that after 50 years of constitutional rights, we are again fighting for the right to make decisions about our own bodies.

But we can’t stop fighting to protect our freedom against these unprecedented assaults. Not when this fight is so personal to many of us.

I joined thousands of protestors in Washington DC this weekend to tell the Court to keep bans off our bodies. I’m doubling down on my work to abolish the Senate filibuster and enshrine abortion rights in Congress, defeat anti-abortion Republicans, and make sure reproductive health care decisions remain between a patient and their doctor, no matter what state you live in.
