Hi there,
Before you sit down for Thanksgiving dinner, I wanted to send you a quick note about gratitude.
In New Mexico, we have a lot to be thankful for — from the rich fields that produce our famous green chile to the warm communities that welcome new friends and old ones.
Over the past few years, I’ve realized how strong our communities are — not just here in New Mexico, but all across America. As divisiveness and hatred have reared their ugly heads, millions of Americans have quietly stood up and said: “That’s not who we are.”
I know that news from Washington has seemed dark over the last few weeks — but our country has faced tough times like these before, and we have always emerged stronger.
America is full of compassionate, kind people, and our future is bright.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
