This morning, the Washington Post endorsed Tom Perez in the Governor’s race.

This is a big, big deal, Team. And the Post’s endorsement persuasively makes the case for why Tom is the best choice to be the next Democratic Governor of Maryland:

“The point is not that Mr. Perez, 60, the son of Dominican immigrants, has held a long list of big jobs; it’s that in all of them he can point to tangible, important achievements. When he says he belongs to the 'GSD' — Get Stuff Done — wing of his party, none of his Democratic rivals bother to argue. Even conservatives concede he is highly effective.”

Team, between the support of major Maryland labor organizations like the AFL-CIO, backing from incredible leaders like Nancy Pelosi, and now today’s Washington Post endorsement — the momentum is clearly with Tom in this race.
