There’s no sugarcoating it, John. The Montana GOP’s unconstitutional attacks on voting rights — particularly college students and our native communities — are having a major impact on this primary election.
But now that the Montana Supreme Court has temporarily blocked some of the GOP’s worst voter suppression attempts, folks are going to be even more confused as they fill out their ballots and go to the polls this spring.
Not to mention, according to the Secretary of State, 10,852 voters have already returned their ballots in this primary election. That’s roughly 17% of the total amount of votes we’re expecting!!
This is a critical moment — not just for our campaign, but for the future of voting rights in Montana. We’re mobilizing our grassroots team all across this district to make sure voters know about these changes and have what they need to return their ballots for Tom, but this Supreme Court ruling creates a dangerous cloud of confusion.
That’s why we’re humbly asking you to rush a donation to our GOTV Fund right away so we have the resources to communicate with key voters impacted by this decision. Donate now:
Voters are losing trust in their vote and in our elections thanks to the Montana GOP’s voter suppression tactics. And at a time when life is already so uncertain for Montanans, making our democracy more precarious is the last thing we need.
Tom Winter will stand up to these voter suppression attempts and fight for everyone’s right to vote — but first we need to win this primary. Your support means so much right now:
