This week, we made big progress in stopping Joe Biden’s authoritarian “Ministry of Truth” that would silence political speech that the left doesn’t like. I also continued to demand that Biden back away from his plan to let Title 42 expire at our southern border.

Huge news: we learned this week that Joe Biden’s authoritarian “Ministry of Truth” is being PAUSED.

As a reminder, Joe Biden established a new “Ministry of Truth” at the Department of Homeland Security in order to “combat disinformation that poses a threat to the homeland.”

We all know what that means: targeting speech from conservatives that the left disagrees with. It’s more of a Ministry of Propaganda than a Ministry of Truth. 

The left already tries to use Big Tech to censor conservatives. Now they want to set up a department in YOUR GOVERNMENT to do the same thing.

But thanks to patriots like you, who stood up and spoke out against this blatant attack on our First Amendment rights, Joe Biden is backtracking. This is what happens when we fight, when we make sound arguments about the dangers of the left’s authoritarian goals.

This is great news, but now is not the time to get complacent. Now is the time to double down on our efforts to ensure this new Ministry of Propaganda is thrown in the ash heap of history where it belongs forever.

That’s how many illegal immigrants could cross into our country EVERY DAY once Joe Biden rescinds Title 42. And he’s planning on doing that ON MONDAY, MAY 23.

We are currently experiencing more than 7,000 illegal crossings every day as our border continues to be overrun. Remember, Obama’s Homeland Security Secretary said that 1,000 per day was a crisis.

And just last month, there were more than 234,000 encounters at our southern border – the highest number of monthly encounters in the last two decades - and a 31% increase from 2021 (178,795) and a 1,286% increase from 2020 (17,106)

Joe Biden’s border crisis is unlike anything we’ve seen before. And that’s why we need to take action.

Critically, ending Title 42 will exacerbate another crisis: fentanyl overdoses.

Fentanyl is the leading cause of death for people aged 18-45 in the United States. There were 100,000 in 2021 for this age group, meaning fentanyl killed twice as many people as COVID-19, car accidents, cancer, and suicide.

As fentanyl pours across our border and into our communities, we need to extend Title 42 to be used to protect the American people from fentanyl smuggling at our border.

I’m supporting legislation to do just that but I need your help to put pressure on Joe Biden.

We need to ramp up the pressure to get Joe Biden to extend Title 42, and we have just 3 days to do that.
