Later today, Rick Scott is taking the stage at the North Carolina Republican convention.
He’s head of the NRSC, the Senate Republicans’ campaign arm — the same people who are currently on the air attacking Cheri with misleading smears.
He’s coming not only to prop up Ted Budd’s campaign but to push the extreme right-wing agenda he released as a preview of what Senate Republicans would do if they take back the majority.
He’s made clear that under Senate Republicans, half of Americans would see a tax increase. His plan puts Social Security and Medicare at risk — potentially ending them entirely. It also threatens to roll back rights — including abortion rights, LGBTQ+ rights and voting rights.
These ideas are wildly unpopular and dangerous, but Ted Budd has said he agrees with Rick Scott’s plan.
So before Rick Scott takes the stage, we want to send a message loud and clear that Democrats will fight tooth and nail to stop their agenda and expand our majority.
