Dear Friend,

With spring in full swing across the country, many of our coalition members are blooming with projects, opportunities, and even freshened up images. There are twenty organizations that make up the coalition and each is a unique and integral part of the larger American secular community. The Secular Coalition for America is proud to advocate on their behalf here in our nation's capital.  We would like to share with you what some of these organizations are up to!

A new podcast, called We Dissent, has been produced by expert legal minds from three of our member organizations: American Atheists, American Humanist Association, and Freedom From Religion Foundation. The first episode was dropped this week and features Alison Gill (Vice President for Legal and Policy at American Atheists), Monica Miller (Legal Director and Senior Counsel at the American Humanist Association's Appignani Humanist Legal Center and Executive Director of the Humanist Legal Society), Rebecca Markert (Legal Director for Freedom From Religion Foundation), and Elizabeth Cavell (Staff Attorney at Freedom From Religion Foundation) discussing the Carson v. Makin case.
Tune in!
Introducing: GO Humanity! Formerly known as Foundation Beyond Belief, the organization that focuses on humanistic values and direct service found change necessary in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.  A significant team effort, the rebrand is complete! You may have already noticed the rollout on social media. We're excited to support their continued efforts and grateful that they shared so much about the inspiration and process publicly.
