Phew! The past week has been busy.

I went to a reproductive rights rally in North Kitsap, filed to be on the ballot in August, got first place on the ballot (meaning that out of six candidates, my name will appear first), had an endorsement interview with a national organization, and released our latest campaign ad.

In just two days, the campaign ad has already gotten over 100,000 views on Twitter. Tomorrow I’ll release it on Facebook, and over the weekend, we’ll begin running YouTube ads featuring the video. (To view it right now, check out the pinned Tweet at the top of my Twitter profile.)

Now that filing week is over, the candidates in my race are finalized. My opponents are a Chevron Democrat, a hard-right MAGA Republican, two other Republicans, and an independent. In August, all of us will run against each other, and the top two vote-getters will go to the general election.

I am the only candidate in this race who stands for Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, a federal jobs program, a $30 minimum wage, and Housing for All.
