The GOP-drawn congressional map in Kansas had been overturned in court last month in part because it would unfairly impact Black and Hispanic voters in the Kansas City area.

But this week, the Kansas Supreme Court reinstated this gerrymandered map.

Kansas was one of a handful of states where the congressional map was still in flux ahead of the midterm elections. Now we’re one step closer to every map being final. Make a donation to All On The Line to fight for fair maps and elections.

We don’t know what will happen next in Kansas -- but we do know that voters will have to work even harder to be heard despite a gerrymandered map that diminishes the voting power of communities of color as the cost of the conservatives’ undeserved and unchecked political power.

President Obama said: “The AOTL team will use every dollar you give to help secure fair elections ahead of the midterms -- and for years to come.”
