Open access to abortion saves lives. Outlawing the practice only pushes women underground into unsafe, unsterile environments. Deaths due to unsafe abortions have plummeted since 1973, and will only skyrocket when the GOP trashes our civil right.

Many studies have found that outlawing abortion doesn’t realistically decrease the amount of abortions performed in any significant way, it just drastically increases the danger faced by women who look elsewhere to terminate their pregnancy.

The GOP doesn’t really see fetuses as people. If they truly saw them as people, why do we keep hearing story after story of anti-abortion advocates getting abortions for them or their family when an unexpected pregnancy happens to them? Why aren’t we getting invited to funerals for miscarriages? The GOP just wants to control women, they want to push us into the past, and they will end up killing thousands of women while doing so.

We must protect this fundamental civil right of ours AT ALL COSTS! No more endangering women’s rights for psychopathic power trips! My body, my f***ing choice!

Get out there and vote! Make sure you’re registered! Volunteer! Do everything you can to help us make 2022 the biggest blue wave this country has ever seen! I’ll be on the front lines, pushing for legislation to codify Roe v. Wade. See you there!
