John, it's official.
I just filed the paperwork to formally kick off my campaign for reelection to Congress for the 10th District.
The people of the South Sound want a proven leader who will fight for a fairer economy and a nation that is more safe, just, and secure.
Thanks to your support, I’ve successfully worked to make our economy more inclusive, and secured over $7 billion in bipartisan infrastructure investments and over $300 million for the South Sound in the American Rescue Plan.
I’m committed to continuing that work and building on our success, but I can’t do it without your help.
Will you support me again by chipping in $10 to help us raise $8,000 for our official Campaign Kick-Off this week? [[link removed]]

For the first time, we’re facing GOP opposition in WA-10 in the form of not one but TWO declared Republican challengers. We know Kevin McCarthy and national Republicans are counting on a red wave in November, so we can’t let our guard down for a moment.
As we continue to reckon with the rise of hate speech and its violent results, it is paramount that we elect leaders who truly represent the diversity of our communities and understand the challenges we face. I’m proud to be the first African American and Korean American woman elected to Congress from the Pacific Northwest, and I’m committed to fighting for our values.
Please join me in that fight by contributing to our Campaign Kick-Off today. [[link removed]]
It has been an honor to be the South Sound’s voice in the United States Congress, and I look forward to a positive campaign focused on the issues that really matter to our neighbors in the South Sound.
Thank you,
Marilyn
