My name is Evan McMullin. I’m running for U.S. Senate in Utah to replace obstructionist Senator Mike Lee and I’m asking for your support.

I want to tell you about my experience in the CIA, but before I go any further, I hope to launch our campaign with the support of 10,000 Americans: So, can I count on you to become a founding supporter and help our campaign reach its goal?

When I was a kid, my dad rented a spy movie from Blockbuster. That movie captivated my attention, and while it doesn’t quite capture the real-life nature of intelligence work, it ignited my passion for service and country.

At age 15, I called the CIA and asked to join. (They told me to call back when I grew up.) So after finishing my church mission to Brazil and graduating from BYU, it didn’t take long to understand my calling.

When America was attacked on 9/11, I volunteered to serve undercover in the most dangerous places on Earth. It was my job to track down and stop terrorists bent on destroying our way of life. Then, after nearly a decade, I returned to the U.S. to advise Congress on national security issues and to fight political extremism — in both parties.

I’m running for the U.S. Senate to represent Utah and our values — compassion, selflessness, and independence — in Washington.

I set a goal of earning the support of 10,000 patriotic Americans within the first month of my campaign. Every day, more and more people are joining this grassroots effort — but I could still really use your help. So I’m asking you personally:
