| Dear friend, Welcome! I want to thank you for joining Team Oz. I am delighted to have you on board as we work to heal America. I am Dr. Oz, and I am running for Senate in Pennsylvania. These past few years have been difficult for Pennsylvania and America: COVID-19 has taken a toll on our health and the economy; “family” and “community” institutions have been neglected, and our safety and children’s education are at risk. Meanwhile, our elected officials are too afraid of being “canceled” to make real change. I have spent the past 30 years in medicine, advocating for Americans to take control of their health and their lives. Often referred to as “America’s Doctor,” I am an Attending Physician at NY Presbyterian-Columbia Medical Center and have performed thousands of heart operations. I became a cardiothoracic surgeon in the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where I spent many formative years. Today, deep family ties keep me rooted in the Commonwealth. I live in Bryn Athyn, with my wife Lisa of 36 years. Together we’ve raised four children, Daphne, Arabella, Zoe, and Oliver, and have four grandchildren. I currently dedicate most of my time to improving the health of Americans on my Emmy award-winning daytime show, The Dr. Oz Show. I am running for Pennsylvania Senate to fight for everyone who has been told by powerful interests to sit down and shut up rather than take control of their lives and government.
