Brian Fitzpatrick voted against a domestic terrorism prevention bill that he co-sponsored so he could score political points with the far right.

In case you missed it, John.

The House just passed The Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act — legislation that significantly increases federal funding and resources to combat violent extremism and the rise of domestic terrorism. Despite being one of the bill's co-sponsors, Brian Fitzpatrick voted against it.

Why would Fitzpatrick go through the trouble of co-sponsoring a bill, and then vote against it?

Because he’s playing D.C. parlor tricks and using a devastating problem as a prop. Depending on what room he’s in, he can claim to have introduced legislation to stop domestic terrorism, or he can score political points with the far-right and say he voted against it. He’s two-timing us. It’s as simple as that.

This isn't the first time Fitzpatrick turned his back on the people he was elected to represent, and it won't be the last. That’s why we need leaders like Ashley with the courage and integrity to vote for what’s right, not what’s popular with the MAGA base.
