Dear John,
This Thanksgiving, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the opportunity you gave me to serve our great state. Since inauguration day, I have continued to travel to all four corners of Oklahoma, listening to you and seeing first-hand the blessings and challenges of our various 4 million residents. Your stories demonstrate that we are a state of opportunity, of community, of compassion, and of grit.
I am grateful for how many of you have stepped forward, raised your hand, and walked with me as we began Oklahoma’s great turnaround. Not only are we making a difference today in our schools and neighborhoods, but we are enacting change that will ensure a better life for the next generation of Oklahomans too. Thank you for sharing the vision of Oklahoma being a Top Ten state and for making great sacrifices to work, volunteer, or partner with our administration.
Closest to my heart, I am thankful for my family. This summer, Sarah and our children moved to Oklahoma City, transitioned into a home on the National Guard’s base, and the kids started new schools. I am blessed to have them by my side during this season of serving our state.
Join me in sharing all the reasons we have to be thankful for as Oklahomans!
God bless,
Governor Kevin Stitt
