Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas just can’t help himself. Months
after being the singular vote to shield Trump from the January 6 Select
Committee’s investigation, Justice Thomas blasted progressives for
protesting outside the homes of Justice Alito and Chief Justice Roberts
over the leaked draft opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade, saying:

“You would never visit Supreme Court justices’ houses when things didn’t
go [conservatives’] way,” he said. “We didn’t throw temper tantrums. It
is incumbent on us to always act appropriately, and not to repay tit for
tat.” ^[1]

Has Justice Thomas forgotten that just over a year ago, many far-right
conservatives did way more than throw a tantrum – they attempted to
overturn the results of a free and fair election and that his wife Ginni
was potentially involved in helping to organize the protests held earlier
that day?!

[ [link removed] ]Justice Thomas is the last person who should criticize or comment on
the integrity of the Supreme Court when he has gone out of his way to
protect far-right insurrectionists – sign the petition now calling on
Justice Thomas to recuse himself from any future cases involving January
6! >>

Perhaps worse yet is that despite his very own actions that sow mistrust
in the Supreme Court, Thomas complained about the nature of the leak,
saying “I do think that what happened at the Court is tremendously bad […]
I wonder how long we’re going to have these institutions at the rate we’re
undermining them.” ^[2]

The level of hypocrisy from Justice Thomas is staggering. While Thomas
bemoans the leak and wags his finger at progressives, many of his own
actions have done far more to undermine the credibility of the Court.
