Looming SCOTUS case could force more guns into public spaces.

John–

We continue to mourn the lives lost and forever changed by gun violence last weekend, including the victims and survivors of the hate-fueled mass shooting in Buffalo.

This horrifying violence is another reminder of why we need strong gun safety laws across the country—and the tragic human cost if the Supreme Court rules in the gun lobby's favor.

New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen is a Supreme Court case brought by the NRA. It could undermine the ability of federal, state, and local governments to enact and defend meaningful gun violence prevention measures for decades to come.

A decision in favor of the gun lobby could be devastating—enabling more gun violence in more communities.

The Supreme Court will rule soon on this major case. We'll be ready to respond. Help spread the word: Share this info with your friends and family so they know what's at stake before the decision is released.

The NRA's goals are clear: They want to force more guns into more public spaces.

NYSRPA v. Bruen is designed to circumvent the will of voters and rob the American people of the power to protect their communities from gun violence. The New York State Rifle and Pistol Association—the New York state affiliate of the NRA—is trying to create a new and dangerous unrestricted right to carry guns in public.

Adding more armed people to situations such as the mass shooting in Buffalo could have easily compounded those tragedies. An adverse ruling in NYSRPA v. Bruen could do just that.

The Supreme Court must put the safety of our kids first and reject the NRA's dangerous and unpopular agenda. If you're ready to help us fight this extremism, share this info with your friends and family.

Thank you for being a part of this movement. Together, we can win.
