FIRST: Charles won his primary and was elected as the official Democratic
Senate nominee. He became the first Black person in the history of
Kentucky to represent a major party for Senate.

celebrated this victory. They know if we want to deliver meaningful change
to working families across the country – Charles is the leader we need in
the Senate.
