Dear Colleague,

The government of Colombia has become the 36th country to join the Geneva Consensus Declaration, a statement making clear that abortion is not a human right. This is the document that Joe Biden, who styles himself as a faithful Catholic, unsigned in his first days in office. Three countries have joined since Biden took the American name off the document. Stefano Gennarini, J.D. reports.

The international pro-life coalition has blocked all efforts to create a global right to abortion. This coalition was created by Pope St. John Paul the Great way back at the 1994 Cairo Conference. An impressive group of scholars, including our own Rebecca Oas, just met for two days in Warsaw to celebrate the great Saint's contributions to a proper understanding of human rights. Rebecca Oas, Ph.D. reports from the scene.
