Here's how you can help Ukrainian refugees fleeing Russia's invasion.

As of late March, more than 20% of Ukraine’s pre-war population had been displaced. Over 10 million people had been driven from their homes and have either fled the country as refugees or are internally displaced within Ukraine. 

Volunteer with or donate to Red Cross, the UN Refugee Agency, World Central Kitchen, UN Children's Fund, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Samaritan's Purse International Relief, and more.

Senate Votes on H.R. 7691: Additional Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2022

The Additional Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2022 would provide over $40 billion in emergency funding to support the Ukrainian people amid Russia’s illegal and unprovoked invasion.

5/10/22: Passed the House on a 368-57 vote.

5/19/22: Passed the Senate on an 86-11 vote.

Climate Change Indicators Broke Records in 2021, Report Says

The United Nations’ World Meteorological Organization released a report this week, highlighting how extensively human activities influence climate change. The major indicators that the report emphasizes are rising temperatures, greenhouse gas concentrations, and ocean heat. 

The report has prompted renewed calls for policymakers and business leaders to take responsibility for and action against climate change.
