[1]NNU - Medicare for All!

It takes courage to go up against the status quo and fight for systemic
change.

That’s why we want to extend our thanks on behalf of our entire movement
to the 14 health care champions in the Senate (15 with author Sen. Bernie
Sanders himself included!) who signed on last week to the Medicare for All
bill.

[ [link removed] ]Take a look at the names and faces below. Then will you send a thank
you note directly to these senators? We’ll collect all of your messages
and deliver them electronically to their offices.

The for-profit health care industry spends millions of dollars lobbying
members of Congress and donating to their campaigns in an effort to keep
our broken system as-is – profit-driven and immoral.

These senators are calling for a better future and standing with patients,
nurses, and working families who deserve better. For that, we’re so
grateful.

It’s not often that representatives hear positive feedback, and these
messages can go a long way. They let the senators know that their actions
are seen, supported, and that health care is a major issue for
constituents.

Support for Medicare for All cannot end with cosponsoring legislation;
after all, it will take a mass movement of millions of people demanding
change to pass this transformative legislation.
However, the more positive feedback these senators hear, the harder they
will work to lobby their colleagues, call for hearings, and publicly
support the bill.

[ [link removed] ]Please send your letter now, and we’ll be in touch with more ways you
can support this bill soon.

In solidarity,

Alex Newell Taylor
