On behalf of the Connecticut Republican Party, we wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving.

President Lincoln declared a day of Thanksgiving in the midst of a terrible civil war, urging the entire nation to come together as one.  This year as in years past, we celebrate the many fortunes and freedoms bestowed upon us by God.  We also thank and pray for those serving our nation abroad who cannot be with us on this cherished occasion.

Let us be mindful today of the many common values and blessings we share as Americans.  While counting those blessings, we keep in our thoughts those need our support and love the most this year. 

May your Thanksgiving Day be full of togetherness and joy with your loved ones.
