Last month, we asked you to share your thoughts on the economy [[link removed]] and how we should talk to voters about it as we get closer to Election Day.
We want to share some of the responses we received:
JOBS, JOBS, JOBS!
We heard from many supporters who said we need to talk to voters about how fast the economy is growing — the record job gains, rising wages, and declining unemployment. Lizzie is focused on building on those gains by lifting up working families, creating more jobs, and supporting small businesses.
GUN SAFETY
People said they want to see something done to address gun violence in our communities and we couldn’t agree more. Lizzie is tirelessly working to advance common sense gun-safety reforms and close gun purchase loopholes.
LIZZIE’S LEADERSHIP
Others said we need to emphasize how hard Lizzie works for TX-07, how effective she is at addressing the challenges facing our communities, and her efforts to work across the political divide in Washington to get things done for Texans.
AND FINALLY… VOTE!
Another supporter said we need to stress the importance of showing up at the polls and voting this year — to re-elect effective leaders like Lizzie and hold the House majority so we can continue strengthening our economy and making progress on the big issues facing us.
