I’m not going to sugarcoat it: once again, Michigan is a make-it-or-break battleground state in November, and races like Dan Kildee's are going to determine control of Congress.

National Republicans like Trump are counting on our grassroots supporters being tuned out, but I know that isn’t the case.

Michiganders are fired up and ready to win in these really tough races. Now, we just have to prove it.

Dan has always been a great colleague in Congress. We’ve worked together to pass legislation to support working Michigan families and the fact is, we need people like him to fight for us in Congress.

This is going to be a tough race for Dan. Kevin McCarthy and his special interest friends are already spending millions in this race. But I know from my own tough races that we can win this race and keep Michigan blue if we don’t lose momentum now.
