John, I know it’s usually my husband Tony asking you for money.
But today, I told Tony I’d be the one to ask, and explain what this campaign means to us.
John, now you know a bit about Tony’s amazing track record.
But I want to be clear: running for Congress isn’t just about politics for him.
It’s personal.
It’s rooted in his experience growing up in poverty and fighting to defy the odds.
It’s rooted in the lessons he learned as a public school teacher, working with kids like him.
And it’s rooted in his desire to leave the world a better place for our kids, Ava and Luca.
John, I know you work hard for your money, and I wish I didn’t have to ask.
But if Tony misses his $10,775 goal, he’ll have to make serious budget cuts to his campaign.
And it will be that much harder for him to flip this important seat for Democrats in a critical election year.
I’m so proud of Tony. I hope you are too.
Thanks for supporting my husband,
Lauren
