This past weekend, Ruth’s List brought together hundreds of Florida Democrats –  elected officials, candidates, regional leaders, donors, allies, and volunteers – for our annual She’s the Change leadership conference. 

It was a tremendous honor to host a diverse group of leaders with different backgrounds and experiences from across the state to chart a bold course for Florida’s future! 

Ruth’s List is the only organization in the state dedicated to electing Democratic pro-choice women across Florida, and this weekend we laid the groundwork for lasting change. 

We heard from some of the state’s boldest reproductive rights champions, including Congresswoman Val Demings, Commissioner Nikki Fried, State Senator Annette Taddeo, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Senate Minority Leader Lauren Book, and Attorney General Candidate Aramis Ayala. 

These are just a few of the many women leading the fight for reproductive freedom in Florida.

Not only were we inspired by our current women leaders this weekend, but we held numerous panels and breakout sessions with candidates and experts from across the state. Our commitment to building a deep bench of reproductive rights champions across our state was on full display this weekend.
