Happy Thanksgiving, friends.

I love Thanksgiving and the opportunity to spend time with family and friends to reflect. The conversation at our Thanksgiving table is always lively.

But, before we gather, my fiancé Daniel and I join his grandfather, Jim, in Cedar Rapids to deliver meals to those in need or without a place to go on Thanksgiving.

This year, I’m reflecting on what service means — whether it’s delivering hot meals or serving you in Congress, I couldn’t be more proud to serve my community.
